At Covey, we understand the profound importance of creating environments where individuals with disabilities can thrive, grow, and experience independence. Cultivating Connections is a year-long campaign with the goal of raising the necessary funds to install beautiful and intentional landscaping at our Adult Family Homes throughout Winnebago County.

We are committed to establishing homes that go beyond conventional structures—we envision vibrant gardens bursting with life, providing opportunities for therapeutic horticulture and sensory stimulation. Elements such as fragrant flowers, melodic wind chimes, and shaded seating areas are designed to ignite our residents’ senses and enhance their quality of life. Raised plant beds would give our residents the opportunity to grow and care for their own plants, empowering them to thrive on their own terms.

Additionally, this project seeks to cultivate a welcoming environment for neighbors and families to enjoy, encouraging engagement with the residents of our homes. Your generous contribution will enable us to incorporate natural elements to our Adult Family Homes that foster independence and build a brighter future for those we serve. A future filled with hope, possibility, and boundless opportunity for growth.

Finch House

Finch House, our newly built Adult Family Home, is a result of an extraordinary collaboration between Covey, Fox Valley Technical College, and Winnebago County Health & Human Services through the Neighborhood Investment Grant. This partnership has made it possible to create a unique, accessible living space for adults with disabilities—an achievement that is rare to find. This spacious, welcoming home creates a living environment where residents can grow their independence, build connections with their peers, and lead meaningful lives.
