Covey COVID-19 April Update

Dear Covey Community:

We hope this update finds you well. If you have not received a phone call from us, you will. We’re just checking in with everyone to see how you’re adjusting to COVID-19 and remind you that we’re here for you.

In continuing to monitor and navigate the COVID-19 situation, we are pleased to announce that we have begun a soft reopen of our respite services. We are, of course, taking extra measures to ensure a clean and safe environment for us all.

Our COVID-19 Precautions:

  • Increased cleaning and sanitizing of all surfaces, doorknobs, etc.
  • Frequent handwashing
  • Hand sanitizer to be used if handwashing is not immediately available
  • Use of cloth face masks by staff (and participants, if possible)
  • Screening for symptoms of COVID-19 each time a staff comes on duty or a client arrives for services

In addition to these strict guidelines, we continue to enforce our philosophy that anyone who is sick or has symptoms of illness must stay home. It is because of our rigorous adherence to these precautions that we are confident in our ability to protect our participants and staff.

If you have any questions at all, or if you’re interested in how Covey might assist you during this time, please contact Brittany or Myranda.

Remember to stay connected on our Facebook page, too, where we’ve been posting fun #StayAtHome ideas and testing out our video skills!

Warmest Wishes,

Pam & Covey Team
