After a decade of serving as Covey’s CEO, Pam Schutz will be retiring from her role later this year. Pam’s dedication to Covey has allowed the organization to flourish and expand its reach—making a profound impact on countless individuals and families. With careful planning and the full support of our Board of Directors, we’re ready to move into the next chapter with confidence and enthusiasm.

Effective October 1, 2025, Pam will be passing the leadership torch to Covey’s current Chief Operating Officer, Tony Gonzalez, who brings a wealth of experience and passion to his new position. 

Over the next several months, Tony and Pam will work closely together to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition. This will allow everyone to adjust at a comfortable pace, minimizing disruption while maximizing opportunity. Tony’s priorities will include:

• Continuing to stabilize and strengthen the organization after a period of significant growth
• Deepening community partnerships
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centered services remain at the heart of what we do
